Highland Park Valkyrie
Single Malt Scotch Whisky
I can definitely see why they have named this rendition "Valkyrie". It has zingy character, with a lightly sweet core and beautiful inclusion of peat. Light in color, but brash in flavor - it is truly a bottle with the spirit of the Valkyrie trapped inside. Yum.
99 on ultimate spirit challenge but idk if I agree with the rating..but it is worth hype.

Color of caramel. Nose of fermented grains, slightly peaty, baked apple, spicy alcohol, and sweet brown sugar and/or toffee. Taste is a powerful wrestling between spiciness and sweetness. After stirring with tongue, some milk chocolate shows up. The taste remains dense all the way. Aftertaste shows some more honey and flowering notes, mocha, sweetness, spice, zest, mineral salt, and peat. Dense, layered, savory.
