Deep opaque purple in the glass. On the nose, blackberry, plum, and vanilla with meaty undertones. Very juicy dark fruit on the palate with high alcohol, soft tannins, and medium acidity. Some oak spice is appreciated on the relatively short finish. Blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 11% Syrah, 5% Malbec, and 3% Petit Verdot sourced from a variety of Hill Family lots.

Day two is a winner. Last night's glass all over the map tannic and spiked alcohol, like someone makin jam gave up and just started adding every ingredient and sealed up the jar. Had to give it a time out. Today however, it's got it's shit together and all composed. Little spicy still, but it's really workin. Give it a day, it's good. Give it a few more years and it'll be bangin.
