Hirsch Vineyards
Block 8 Pinot Noir
Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, USA
Stated to open up nicely after 30 minutes, should have decanted. I think the wine is at its peak and should be drunk now, starting to get a bit of leather and prune elements. Nice cherry, raspberry aromas.

Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!
What a pull from @Weston Eidson ! Iβve only had one other Hirsch Pinot and both have been outstanding. Touch of mint on the nose. Cherry, raspberry and rhubarb all flexing muscles. Racy acidity and killer texture.

Mari and I are proud to have worked on this one. Cherry trees, fresh raspberries, clean soil, red flowers, rose with stems, light toast, cotton candy, iron. Insanely great!
