An outlier on the Hirsch table, this wine needs a good ten minutes of attention as the wine cuts loose a huge array of earthen and spice-derived aromas and flavors. Super interesting and delicious. A wine to "geek-out" on fo-sho.

Oh man! So delicious. My first vintage here. Proud to have worked on this one. I knew it would taste like this. Pomegranate and cherry trees, pencil shavings, bazooka wrapper, tree bark, burnt rubber that blows off at 30 minutes, the most subtle oak/cedar touch. Pretty much a dead ringer for Grand Cru Burgundy. Amazing.

A little too acidic for my palate but still good and paired well with the turtle bolognese
