Color of dull purple, bubbly and clear. Nose of ripe cherry, almost cherry jam like, tobacco leaves, oily paint, slightly crayon, a bit oak, and some more blackberry. Nose is quite plenty and hints sweetness. Taste of follows the nose with the sweet bite from cherry and dark fruits, drizzled with soft tannins, black pepper, tobacco leaves, a bit vanilla, and medicinal note. Aftertaste is long with zest, peppery, and some herbs note. Done well. Not sure why the rating is low.
