This is actually the Merlot. There were some really negative Cellartracker reviews for this, so I figured it would be shot, but this is quite nice and actually reminded me of well aged Pomerol. That said, I've always had a bit of a soft spot for old bottles of Inglenook.

Beautiful soft and earthy. Love old Napa. Savory, Maggi, dried mushroom, aromatic pipe tobacco, balsamic (in a fresh way, like a drizzle on ice cream), cocoa powder, luxardo cherry. Unexpectedly great.
