Immediately after opening, this was very tart and a little astringent. Revisiting several hours later was a pleasant surprise. Aromas of cherry, cranberries, and dried leaves that transcend to the palette. Nicely textured and well rounded wine. A blend of pinot noir, cabernet franc, negrette, and gamay from the western reaches of the Loire.
