Murky medium garnet with thin orange rim. Fresh blackberry, bay leaf and licorice, band-aid, VA. High alcohol balanced by intense bitterness on finish, some powdery tannin, medium minus acid. Slightest spritz? Citrus peel in mouth. Surprisingly light body and short finish. 14.2%. Day 2: more complex nose, raspberry jam, dried flower, maybe butterscotch.
