Deep garnet with fuchsia highlights. Earthy berry aroma. Medium-light mouthfeel, vibrant acidity, slightly earthy ripe red fruit, beautiful sapidity. Lingering, suede leather tannin, toasty oak finish. I think this vintage will really benefit from another year or two in the bottle, but it has plenty of structure to age well beyond 2018.
