Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

White wine often reminds me of Franklin's comment on his many dalliances while living in Paris.
"All cats are grey in the night". Not bad but rarely something really special.

Pear and citrus on the nose, green apple and citrus on the palate. Crisp but not too light or mineral.

Greene Grape:
This tiny Domaine is located in the village of Bue, a village considered to have some of the finest terroir in Sancerre. Sancerre produces sauvignon blancs coveted by wine lovers around the world. This bottle from Jean-Paul Picard is an elegant expression of all that this famed region has to offer. The balance of slight minerality and grassiness complement the delicate citrus fruit making it expressly superb with classic goat cheese.
