This wine shows why consumers need to stop thinking of Argentina as a one varietal country - there’s a lot to love besides Malbec, like this delicious Cabernet franc. Red cherry, black cherry, blackberry, a touch of oak, vanilla and cedar, and a nice sense of dusty underbrush and dried herbs. The soft tannins and medium plus acidity balance all the flavors to give a seamless package of restrained elegance. Terrific with food and a great value.
