Translucent ruby in the glass. Fruit on the nose - cherries, red currant, blackberries, clove, floral. Tastes fruity with a touch of spice. Medium minus body, medium acidity, hot initially with an odd lingering astringent finish, but almost no noticeable tannin. When allowed to open up was improved.
