Super light for a Bordeaux... Very odd. Not what you'd expect from this area. Overall the nose and palate were ok and similar to what you'd expect from a cab Merlot blend, but it took a while for it to open up so that the polyphenols could actually have an impact.

I'm not much of a Bordeaux drinker. I prefer Malbec, but this seemed a bit acidic. If I was served this at a party I wouldn't turn my nose up at it, but would not chose this.

Dec 5th, 2015Nice wine! This was a 2012 bottle! Tried pairing it with a dark chocolateand then a sharp parmesan cheese! A totally different experience with each! A nice sit and drink bordeau.
