Absolutely beautiful wine. Fruitfull, rich, and gamey, brick red, velvet tannins, and a lingering leathery/tobacco finish. Price is even extremely affordable for a wine that drinks like aged Bordeaux/Burgundy. Acid had finally found its balance at its age, and will continue to get better.

Warm glassy red with a light brown edge. Lighter in color than expected but that is not reflected on the palate. Round, juicy splash of sweet cherry up front followed immediately by tobacco and soft tannins. Great balance. Great stuff!

Blackberry, vanilla, ripe cherry on the nose. Medium body, medium acidity, minimal/smooth tannins. Classic Rioja notes in this price range. Good everyday drinker.
