An ode to Montrachet indeed, this is quite possibly the greatest white (reductive) wine I have tasted from Spain.
A pronounced nose of minerality, with well integrated oak notes of toast, vanilla, citrus and orchard fruits. The palate is bone dry, adding bitter almond to the complexity, with a pronounced and firm mineral and acid core. A long, clean and fresh finish, this is a spectacular example of the highs white wines can get to in Spain.
