A mild (Merlot-like) nose with a nice initial taste and a pleasant middle that had more depth than most blends I can recall having lately, although not as "dry" to my usual taste. This was a nice Valentine's surprise from my sweet wife. We picked up the bottle together at Les Bourgeois Winery in Rocheport, MO.
