What on earth is this?! Really, what in the world! First start with that label. Simply gorgeous and the kind of aesthetic I like. A vibrant red color with lavender flourishes throughout. It really is so pretty. The nose starts off with a big chunk of thyme, closely followed by fresh strawberries and raspberries. So much greenery going on here with plenty of herbs and rosemary aromas. Floral notes abound as the wine warms up but then the citrus really kicks in with pineapples.

Ok so this is absolutely Glou-Glou. Of course it is. But it’s delicious as all get out. The composition is nuts: Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Riesling, Muscat, and Gewurtztraminer. Ridiculous. And it works. Definitely not as weird as you’re probably thinking. This is crisp and refreshing with nice tannins. The fruit on the palate is lively but never overbearing, fun but not immature. It’s a serious wine after all. Blood orange is dominant along with more thyme and raspberries. Short finish but that’s ok. This is really fun stuff you should give a shot.

Les Vins Pirouettes does not disappoint! Seriously, I love their wines. This beauty has a nice sharp herbal nose and then explodes in the mouth...a tangy lollipop! Beautiful cranberry color with hints of the fruit on the palate.
