Deep glass-clinging purple. Nose of black raspberry and menthol. Firm tannins on the palate of black raspberry, black tea, and light menthol. More New World in style than Cahors -- which makes sense as Osmin actually makes one -- but by no means an Argentinian clone. Definitely needs food: served Swedish meatballs well.

Excellent for the middle of the week with dinner and you can't argue against it for the price. Acidic, dry, and I picked up some smoke and earthiness. Menthol hints a well. Do not let it sit in the glass long, as the sharpness is reduced greatly even after five minutes.
