Ribolla gialla, one of my favorite white grape varieties. Blended with Friulano in this wine, another common grape used for the production of whites in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Golden yellow color, with notes of yellow apple, pear, acacia flowers and honey. Round and smooth mouth feeling with tempered acids. Full bodied due to partly elevation on oak barrels, therefor it reminds of the new world wine style. Something other than the ordinary but definitely not everybodies friend
