Masculine, shouldered, cinnamon, clove, and linear earth. More like a Beaune 1er.

A great table wine. Let it open for an hour. Starts with an earthy meaty flavor and then settles into non descript berries. Guests will love it, even if you don't.

Easy easy drinking...perfect table wine and this makes an absolutely fine appetizer on its own and just fine with vegetables and butter and no seasonings at all. Simplicity is so beautiful on this occasion.
