Mid crimson. Nice perfume showing spice and earth. Medium bodied. An excellent vintage from a lesser district. Good fruit quality without a lot of complexity. From half bottle. Great with yellow duck curry with fermented ginger root - Vietnamese style.

This may be my favourite wine from my trip to Burgundy: herbal, floral, and spicy with acidity and fine tannins well balanced. And, unlike many of the wines I've tasted, it's drinking very well already.

So nice. Opening up beautifully right now. So pretty and feminine but with a wild streak of iron.

Great wine, and even better two days after being opened - the magic of a #Burgundy.
