Everything that makes me happy about wine. Such a great bottle! Will actually go Re-buy. Betsy and I both loved it. Had it by itself in the outdoors in great scenery.

Definitely got better after it had time to breathe.

More acidity and balance in several of more recent bottles. Very solid table wine although my favorite is the 2016 vintage.

Light ruby color. Strawberry, cherries, perfume-like with some oak. Less tobacco and leave when compared to the awesome 2016 vintage, which might be bottle specific. Light body. Fruit forward. Reminds me of Gamay wines with the strawberry and fruit note. My personal preference is to have a bit more acidity and alcohol. Very different from 2016, but an easy drinking wine. Have it chilled.
