Remarkably fresh for being 12 years old...good structure, balance, and acid. There's still darker fruit to keep things lively but some really interesting secondary and tertiary notes emerging such as leather, brown spice, and shoe polish. Starting the downward trend, I'd probably drink this sooner rather than later.

17 bottles and this was the standout of the night. Flinty smoke, focused fruit, incredible structure. A memorable bottle.
