Underwhelming, but not terrible. A decent blend, but nothing to write home about.

Masi Campifiorin Rosso Veronese 2011: Medium-plus body. Medium acidity. Good balance and pleasant texture. Juicy dark fruits. Raspberry. Plum. Dried fruit & herbs. Leather. Oak. Spice. Soft lingering finish. All in all, a lovely Ripasso-style (made of dried grapes) rosso wine consisting of Corvina, Rondinella & Molinara grapes. Paired nicely with the different Argentine empanadas. Big dark cherry, dark robust smoke.

Good wine for an Italian blend. Smooth but has substance. Light acidity. Good sipping wine, good with pasta. Would buy again, but it’s nothing superb. Bought at Costco.

Very simple cherry note flavors. Light body. The wine approved after day 1.
