Top Notes For
/- The Great Bitter -\
•Amarone•
A lovely nose of deep currant black tea.
Currant carries on, with multi layers of dark chocolate, oil cured olives, Black tea, prune.
This is heavier than most, and more to the traditional bitter, than sweet.
I Decant any Amarone for at least 6 hours, and this certainly needs it.
Finishes with singing acidity/good tannin integration.

Full-bodied, raisin velvet tumbling through my palette. Like an old lover who you haven't seen for years - a wonderful, welcome, sensuous surprise in the late summer sun....
