Super dark and rich. Enjoyed it with steak but definitely better for deep winter / rich meats. Also: 15% ABV!

Prune and licorice up front, nose and on the palate. Over time, deep, dark fruits emerge. Thick masturbated blackberries, sticky over ripe Concord grapes. Fanfuckingtastic!

Smoky, meaty notes on the nose. Big, bold red fruit and earthy minerals. Tight tannins provide a strong grip. For me, this could be a lot better if the components were more in balance. Acidity, grip, and heat from alcohol crest up and down at different frequencies. Things seemed more in synch when paired with food. This needs red meat and a good dose of fat.
