Waves of fruit crashing on limestone rocks. This is very very exciting wine. Only 595 bottles. Welp! Nose also has some super detailed sweet cocoa and just top top clarity. Wow that palate, those late breaking Pommard tannins and exquisitely formed fruit. This is something else. Let’s see how it performs with air. 9.6 now. Now the next day after 14+ hours open this is singing. Nose has a deep cherry perfume and wonderful spice and brooding Pommard minerals. Terrific aromatic complexity. Palate is just lights out with freshness, deep mid to late season cherry and also some early season as well. Brooding but suave stony Pommard minerality and gorgeous complexity and depth. Exquisite juiciness and balance. Long finish and so well made. Lingers forever.
