Hazelnut and pecan turn creamy vanilla pudding, pine nut, grass clippings and charred bits, with a satisfying carbon and graphite in a lemon pith middle burning a hot streak.

Attention scotch lovers: if you love highlands scotch, this is Ireland's answer to the eastern side of the UK, a single pot still 12 year Irish whiskey! Nice spice, mellow smooth mouthfeel, maintaining the fruit body, and a woody smoke nose, overall, outstanding! Wish I could try the 15 and the expensive 21 year!

Matured in oloroso sherry casks; generous and refined with rich dried fruits, treacle, and toasted oak notes. A true contender, and more complex than most speysides at this price.

There is a note in the flavor I'm not a fan of but the rest of it flows nicely together. Enough burn to be satisfying going down and very big bodied.
