Mission Estate is working on a US importer. You can find some of their wines here and there on Wine Searcher. Once they find their importer, their wines are worth seeking out not only because there good but an even better value. This is 92% SB and 8% Semillon. The mouthfeel is thicker & creamy like it's spent extra time on lees only it hasn't. Macerated pears, spice, yellow florals, white peach, ginger, tangy, light smokiness, shaved almonds, green melon, saline & guava. Finishes bright & fresh with tamed acidity. This is the oldest Cellar Door in Hawke's Bay...Mid 1800's. The photos are of the tasting bar and their larger party room set up using the old mission pews.
