This Joly is as strangely erotic as Angelina Jolie. It should be a little scary, and yet, how can you resist? Intentionally oxidative Chenin Blanc that rests on the lees for several years. And yet, still fruit.

Straight from the fridge, this is quite delicious. Nervy acidity, grapefruit and unripe melon flavors. Finish lasts 20+ seconds.

As it warms, it's more about dried apples and some pleasant oxidative notes. Curiously, it is not more complex as it warms, but definitely different. I enjoy both experiences thoroughly.
