Beauty. Preserved strawberry over a bed of mulch. Cologne & rosewater followed by chanterelles and motor oil. Nice bit of tannin. Winner of the night fo sho.

Opened this 2006 Volnay. It’s an epic night for us. I’ve never had a Pinot with such a long finish. Still has lots of life and could go a good number of years more.
