SWK Vineyard Pinot Noir

Bright and surprisingly open.

Packed with acidity. Bright fruit. Minerality also comes through. Super cool.

Agree with other raters. Lighter, more acidity and mineralty. Beautiful fruit

Too light bodied for my tastes - light tart red fruits and minerality. A nice wine but bit too much acidity.

Testing for class

Trying out Stanford Wine Class. Pulled out three Pinots to taste test. I *loved* the old Kistler Pinots with their dark color, thick jammy viscosity and forest floor notes. The shift towards a lighter more typical Pinot while nice just doesn't make me go wow. It's nice but just that.

Aromatic with a long finish.. Just what you would expect from Stephen Kistler! Can't wait to try this wine again in 5 years...
