Color of dark red with bright purple on the rim. Nose is oaky, plumy, vanilla beans, a bit coffee, cinnamon, spice, and even a bit menthol. Taste of subtle yet plenty of acidity, low tannins, raisins, oak, bittersweet, spice like black pepper. Overall she has the flavors somehow but nothing really stands out as a wow.

Mar 10th, 2020I don’t have a lot to say. Meh. Fruit forward, tart, no structure or complexity. Terribly disappointed. Especially since you can find stellar Rioja at half the price. In the interest of full disclosure, this review is objective and not a reflection of the fact I just found out my pride and joy got into trouble at school today and is now in the doghouse. Big time.
