The winemaker for PG has referred to the 2018 vintage as the best raw material they’ve ever seen. With the gravitas of this producer and their previous work at Torii Mor & other places, that’s high praise. If this entry level cuvée is a good indicator, then look out. Great power & finesse already and a simply enchanting nose. Few producers cover Oregon as completely as Patricia Green and you can taste the deft hand behind this vintage and bottling. Get some.

Excellent value and nearly everything you want in an entry level Oregon Pinot noir. A bit darker and more robust than I expected, and at 13.7% labeled abv. But quite balanced with darker red berries, some spice / chocolate notes, and slightly noticeable tannins. Lacking just a bit of acid on the finish for the freshness I’d love.

This is a lovely Pinot from Oregon showing it’s cooler climate roots with subtle fruit, a bit of earthiness and a solid acidic zing on the finish. Great value pinot noir especially compared to some of the overdone Californians at this or higher price points

These are so young, but completely irresistible right now. Nose is compelling with mixed berry notes and a hint of star anise. The palate shows high toned pomegranate and bright red berries. It has a savory/earthy component with brisk, fresh acid. These are showing great right now.
