Nice new world Pinot. Feels likes it's been pumped with something a bit heavier, but maintains a lot of the rocky textures. Good stuff. Spicy even.

Growing up on a working farm in NY, Paul experienced first-hand the influence of terroir on the character of fruit, his father had him taste apples of the same variety grown in different orchards several miles apart from one another. Aromas of berry fruits and herb notes. On the palate juicy blackberry and strawberry with black tea and herb spice. Elegant soft savory tannins on lingering finish ending with mineral tones.

Superb effort from the value-oriented line by Paul Hobbs. Singing after 30 minutes. Black cherry with an exotic edge to it, fresh earth, baking spice, and lemon verbena.

Elegance and finesse in the New World and it isn't Willamette, or uber expensive. Ripe cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, with notes of compost and violets.

Early evening wine tasting at Neat Bottle Shop in Alys Beach.
.
Pretty decent PN, especially at the price point. Every time I try it I think, “Not bad” but I’ve never gone out of my way to buy a bottle 🤷🏻‍♂️

Solid effort. Not every day you see a $40 bottle of wine with a screw cap. Great acidity and depth of flavor. Didn't quite have the length of an elite wine but I could drink this all day.
