
En Magnum. Not on the event menu, but Paul brought this one to share. Much darker than than the Seabiscuit. Poured at the end of the Salmon course, it went well with that and even better with the Osso Bucco which followed.

Paul Lato 2009 Solomon Hills Pinot... my first from this producer. Very clean, pure Santa Rita Hills red cherry and baking spices. 14.8 alch, but no heat. Nice and balanced. One of many excellent Pinots I've had on this trip.
