Delicious. Medium color and body. Light juicy and floral aromas. #giro grape. Pepe and I traded bottles. I asked him about this grape and I’m still awaiting a response. There’s a Giro grape on Mallorca that was recovered by some friends of mine Miquel and Toni Gelabert, but that grape is white and has gris and red mutations…this wine of Pepe from #Alicante is red and not gris. Then there’s a Giro on Sardegna but Pepe has yet to tell me if it’s the same as the Sardinian grape or not. In any case it’s somewhere between a Light Garnacha and a Trosseau noir very perfumed and soft. Highly recommendable. I drank straight away because it was too tasty but it can age for 3/5 years no problem.
