Rustic, powerful, elegant, deep. There is a purity above the tannins, lovely fruit and minerality.

2010 vintage. This was a fantastic wine. The nose was elegant: gravel and violet notes. This also retained a freshness and a tart cherry undertone. And then, upon revisiting, it had fresh, bright white flowers. A dynamic wine and an exceptional pairing with Memorial Day burgers. Stocking up.
