In the mouth, it’s savory and earthy, with lots of iodine-tinged gravel, old furniture, and fruit well in the background. A little demanding on its own, but works with food.

Dec 24th, 2022This developed nicely over the course of several hours. Tight, with tremendous acidity, it ultimately shows tart, macerated cherry, leather, cracked stone-laced gravelly notes. Lean but intense. Great dinner Brunello. Should last and improve for at least another 5 years.
