California Red Blend

Lovely aroma of cherries and chocolate. Has a strong taste of anise on the back that I’m having trouble getting past, as I’m not a licorice fan.

Fruity, spicy with a smooth finish. A definite keeper.

A pleasant surprise for a wine of this price point. I found it to be drinkable and smooth, perfect with a good book or while cooking dinner. Rich, yet still has a bite of sharpness to reveal its immaturity.

Opened well. Not too dry. Great with spaghetti and meatballs. Sippable as well.
