Conde Villar Alvarinho

Once again this is vinho Verde at its very best. Pear, cantaloupe, chalk. There's that mineral thing on the nose that tells you it's going to be great 😊 the palate is very well made with a great acid backbone, a good width and mouthfeel, some pear and slightly lemony notes, before a long and fresh finish that goes on for a while. Why is everyone overlooking Vinho Verde?

Lychees and lemons with a feeling of fizz (without the fizz). Opened up with time into something more mellow. It was interesting in a good way.
