Illumination Sauvignon Blanc

2011. Lychee. Pink Grapefruit. Fresh cut grass. Lemon zest finish. Long finish. Wow.

My favorite SB. So rich it's like a Chardonnay with light oak and an amazing deep tropical but soft fruit.

Fattest sauvignon blanc ever. And it smells like they rolled the grapes in grapefruit pith and kitties. Not my thang...

Loads of tropical fruit and a streak of freshly mowed grass. Heavier body for SB. Quite nice!

2011 Quintessa

Tasted a little flat as compared to usual. I decanted for about 30 minutes, maybe that had something to do with it. It seemed to mellow down the pear and citrus flavors this wine usually shows. Tasted a bit bitter midway through the glass but showed well at the end. Will drink day two from the bottle and a little colder.

So so.

Delicious and crisp citrus.

This terrific Sauvignon Blanc comes from Quintessa in the Napa Valley. Great wine!
