
A bit disappointing. Found it on the light side with lack of backbone and depth that unusually find from this offering. It was good, not great. Lemon fruit without a solid acidity or mouthfeel. Light and enjoyable but not memorable.

More balanced that you might expect. Just the right combination of pineapple and creepiness. Almost a little too big as an aperitif, but it stands up well with some of the cheeses and smoked fish we're enjoying tonight; probably keep it right through dinner. 2009, so you can see it ages repectably for a California chardonnay, too.

Golden color, crisp with notes of pears and peaches. Even so, very creamy with a long, clean finish.

Tart and citrus, not a very full flavor. Drinkable, but not my thing.
