Inviting, with lilting sweet aromas of baked apple, white peach, lemon curd and spring flowers. On the palate the 2014 Raptor Ridge Pinot Gris is equally tender and round, held aloft by a delicate vein of acidity that provides just enough lift. This is a delicate, pretty Gris that reminds me of early spring. Medium length finish. 13.5% ABV | Sample

Great poached pear fruit, lovely acid. I could drink a bucket of this!

The nose is creamy with lots of tropical fruit notes. A lush ripe pineapple is huge on the nose. The palate presents only a slight acidity but has more of a creamy mid palate with a very soft finish.

Light and refreshing during a summer evening. Pears and subtle fruits with an soft acidic kick. Smooth and creamy lighting up your mouth with a citrus dreamland well after drinking is done. ALC 13.5%

This wine is like a drunk Clydesdale. It smelled so heady it scared me, especially with 13.5% written on the label, but I gave it a chance and I put it into my mouth and swallowed and it finished with a truly ugly alcoholic burn. Otherwise it was spiced and oily and clunky. Not for me.
