This is a really fun wine. A blend nearly half of which is Petite Sirah, this has a great nose of black fruits and spice (I thought it may have been mostly zin based on the nose). Super inky in color, this is a big wine and very fruit-forward with concentrated flavors of Blackberry liqueur/Cassis dominating. This was pop and pour and is made by Kirk Venge - and has his signature bold profile that I've experienced in his wines. I can't remember but I think this was sub $50 if I'm recalling correctly, so a great QPR. FURIOUS at myself for only buying one bottle.
