Dusty, cigar ash, R. Apple skins, dried earth, spices, dried herbs, smoke. Structurally this wine is very sound with vibrant acid and tannin still holding on. Almost Nebbiolo-like in texture and elegance. Very pretty and beautiful.

Still mostly ruby. Vibrant nose of plum walnuts pencil lead and black cherry. Tannins nicely integrated with fruit when the wine hits the tastebuds. Round and balanced. Great wine.
