Roc d'Anglade
Vin de Pays du Gard Carignan Blend
Nose of blackberry, garrigue, olive, Provence dry herbs, fig... so many layers. The palate is a model of balance with a strong acid backbone that plays along a lovely red and black Forrest fruit. Some tannins to kick off a bright and persistent finish with fruits. I love it

Jun 16th, 2018More freshness than I'd have thought. Nice nose of garrigue red fruits and orange. The palate is pretty fresh with an acid backbone that goes for ever. In its structure this wine reminds me more of a burgundy than a southern côte du Rhône. Lots of red fruits, gentle tannins that play a little velvety tune. Long finish with a touch of orange skin (bitterness). I love this very much
