Rolly Gassmann
Alsace AOC Pinot Blanc
Takes me back to a visit with the producer. Beautiful gold color, lovely viscosity. Suddenly the hubby is a Pinot Blanc fan. #drinkalsace

Aug 21st, 2016It’s been more than 3 years since I’ve had this wine and it only gets better. From one of the great lesser known producers of the Alsace this wine shows a notes of slate, herbs and candied peach. The palate is lush and surprising shows some sweetness that does not present on the nose. Flavors of stone fruits mingle with spice and mineral all layered with juicy acidity. This finish lingers forever, this wine is just something special.

Feb 18th, 2019Off dry well made Pinot Blanc that's showing well. Very nice with some richer foods where the sweetness and acid cuts nicely.

Jan 21st, 2017Deep, full and rich with lots of honey on the nose. The richness continues through the palate with hints of sweetness and big acidity with just a touch of spiciness that continues through the finish.
