A spice-driven, limestone nose leads to a syrupy sweet but decently complex palate, full-bodied with candied apple, dried apricot, and a flavor strangely reminiscent of dark malt, especially on the finish. A bit of tangy acidity balances things out.

Sep 15th, 20152010. Very musky mushroom Pinot Gris nose with lemon candy. very smooth texture, medium to low acidity with 15-18g residual sugar. A REALLY well made Auxxerois.
