Tried to talk myself into thinking this was a Pinot Gris in blind tasting despite noticing all the Sauv Blanc notes: melon, guava, a touch of petrol. There was a peach note that my have convinced me of Pinot, but outside if that I should have known better. First SB I've had from Monterey - reminded me of SBs from S. Africa.
